EXCERPT FROM MY FUTURE BOOK

“So, I uh. What’s the plan, James?” She drew in closer to me. Our arms touched and it felt really warm but electric. The fuzzy feeling inside of me started to stir again. I was literally next to the girl that I’ve been wanting the rest of my whole life. Here she was, and she needed me. She needed me to be her hero now.

“I’m not really sure, but I think we should-“ I stopped dead. The darkness of my room couldn’t show the silly posters and all the stuff I left behind. The lamp however, illuminated our faces. Our bodies, close but still in front of the desk.
“We should what, James? Why’d you stop? What’s wrong?” I stopped dead in my words. Embarrassing.

“Oh, nothing. I guess we should look for him in the next few days. I can fly, can’t I?” I turned to face her. I looked at her in the eye. It felt good and weird at the same time.

“Yeah, that’ll be good. I just. After all we’ve been through, James. I don’t want the possibility of losing you to grab on to me pretty much sooner. You know I can’t come with you.” She held my arms. I could see the tears in her eyes, and I could feel my heart beat faster. What is wrong with me? Obviously, she’s in pain. I’m not really sure if she really feels this way or if she’s just feeling me up.

“Listen. I’ll never leave you in here.” I pointed to her heart. She held my finger with her other hand and drew me closer.

I never really imagined kissing the one you love so much would be like this. Sparks rushed in my brain as both our lips syncopated in movement. It felt great. It was wet, to say the least. And it was magical. I drew in closer and pulled her by the neck and by her back. I now felt the hunger that was forcing me to continue this session wither her. We breathed heavily and made sounds I never imagined would happen to me. We kissed.

“James” She pulled back. Oh no, what did I do wrong?

“Just like that, we’ll make this work. I’ll save the world and…” I can’t believe I just said that. Was I really a hero too, now?

“Just like this, we’ll have each other. I’ll take on Eric and you’ll see me just like how those heroes in books, comics, novels always win in the end. I’ll do that, and everything will be okay. We will win. I promise you.” She let go of me and just looked at me with her lovely eyes. I took a breath.

“James Littman. I love you.” SHE SAID IT! SHE LOVES ME!

“Now, go and save our world. My, world. Go!” She pumped her fist in the air and gave me a smack on the cheek. Just like how we were still those second graders, I felt like a kid again. I felt like the king of the other kids and how I’d just scored the prettiest girl in the world.
I smiled. I stepped towards the door and took one last look at her. She was happy, and I was happy. Her brown hair, her beautiful figure, It was there for me.

“Alli. I love you too. Bye.” Instantly, sparks flew from me. My chest felt like it was going to explode with butterflies. I felt so nervous, and extremely triumphant at the same time. I left and It was the hardest thing I’d ever done to myself. This was for us. Eric was a goner. I’m coming for him.

The world is mine now. Eric, you should really wait for me. Because Here I Come.

When Should I Upload my Videos?

Hey There!

College for me is just right around the corner. Literally. It's in a week. But anyways, a week should equate to five years for a PR so I should really try to utilize that amount of time.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that since College is expectantly a busy place and it's a place full of lots of things, I'm guessing the usual flow of my videos will be jumbled.

I'm hoping I can still post atleast two videos per week, the least I should really upload is one video per week, but I think I'll just have to cross that Rubicon when I get there.

Cheers! DFTBA,

Everyone should WATCH TAG videos.

Hey There!

So, here I am again. First of all, I see that from my YouTube Channel, my TAG videos aren't really doing well? I mean, I'm not really sure why that is. Honestly, I think it's because everybody only looks up to the TAG videos of those who are already established in the Book Tubing Community on YouTube.

Personally, I think EVERYONE should watch these videos. Not only are they entertaining, they also give way to some new things others don't regularly see off the lives of fellow book tubers.

Like me, I rarely say things about my life but with these TAGS, I am able to freely express thoughts and things about me that I never would have.

Everyone has their own opinion/answers on things. Everyone should give a chance to all the TAG videos on YouTube. We can learn stuff from these videos.

Cheers! Till then,

My YouTube Channel

Hey There!

Did you know: I have a YouTube Channel! Yep. I'm sorry if I didn't rub it in too much ;) But anyways, this blog is actually the extension site of my channel there. I mean, I've done around 10 book reviews already in my channel.

This is probably my "RANDOM THOUGHT" place. Haha, I don't really want to shun Blogger but it's true.

Also, I do a LOT of crazy things there like silly tags and what-not.

Yes, I'm asking you to check it out. It'll be fun and I promise your life's going to change forever.

Cheers!

Themed Reading

Hey There!

This post is about themed reading. Honestly, what's themed reading? It's when you read books which contains specific similarities.

I'd like to do this type of reading to expose me to a LOT of books. Honestly, I'd like to but I'm still bound by the fact that I still have to READ a lot of YA and books that are... Hot on/off the shelves! Yeah, dilemmas.

Right now, I have no definite path when it comes to the books I read. I try to balance everything when it comes to that. A little bit of YA Fic, Fantasy, Classic, and the rest is just... Blog posts. LAWL.

I guess, anything that sounds good should come in naturally to the TBR pile I've been building up on.

There's this one genre that I can't stand though. Chick-lit. Haha, don't hate on me. I mean, especially the Pretty Little Liars series. I'm not saying they're terrible. It's just that, something keeps me from completing the novels.

Cheers!

Summer in the Philippines

It's customary that every time you mention "Summer in the Pacific", the Philippines would always be a viable option for it.

Not in ArrictineReads's case. I spent the majority of my summers digging through pages and pages of books while I was traveling all over the country. It's book here and there and I've come up with book reviews.

I don't really think twelve videos would cut the minimum number of videos for summer because apparently, I have not been posting very often. (Okay, that was a joke.)

Anyways, I will attend college in June, and I'm not really sure if I'll still be able to make videos... (Oh, you're being dramatic. Ofcourse I'll still be able to post them!)

Cheers!
